Tips on Choosing the Right Microblading Studio
So, you’ve decided to get your brows micro-bladed – now what?
Would you visit a new restaurant without consulting a friend or Yelp review first? Probably not, so why wouldn’t you do the same when searching for a new microblading studio?
During your search, be sure to check customer reviews on the space, the technicians, and their microblading results. You can never be too careful when it comes to semi-permanent/permanent makeup. Check the studio’s Facebook page and their Google/Yelp reviews, so you’ll know what to expect.
Make sure the studio has a professional portfolio or Instagram page of before-and-after results. If not, keep looking.
Microblading should be done in a private room, separate from others. Avoid all nail or beauty salons that are offering cheap microblading services in-house.
The staff should be able to answer any questions that you have. If they can’t, find a studio that can.
Remember, you’re the one who’s getting the procedure, so style is important. If you’re checking into one single technician, see if there’s a particular style that you like. The same goes for a studio – look to see if there is a technician you would prefer based on their microblading style.
Check to see if the studio/technician has any celebrity or VIP clients. If a studio is receiving celebrity clientele, then it’s safe to say they’re putting out high-quality work.
