The first results are in from our NEW eyebrow treatment

If you were here last week, you’ve already read all about our new Eyebrow Shaping treatment. While results from our microblading and Powder Effect procedures last approximately 12 to 18 months, Eyebrow Shaping is a temporary solution for those who prefer to change their look often, are not ready to commit to semi-permanent makeup or simply need to darken the natural hairs on top of their microblading/Powder Effect work.

We launched this treatment at our New York City studio earlier this year as an alternative OR an addition to semi-permanent makeup. So far, we have been thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive response! The level of interest in our new procedure has really exceeded our expectations. After receiving all the positive feedback on social media, via phone and even in person, we are ready to share the official results with you!

Results last 4 to 6 weeks, and like my microblading and Powder Effect treatments, Eyebrow Shaping fades naturally over time. When you get your brows done with us--no matter which technique you choose--you will never have to worry about the pigment turning blue/gray or ashy. The process still involves pigment application, either on top of your skin or on your natural hairs alone (whichever you choose), so you leave with that beautiful Eye Design brow look.

Like all of Eye Design’s treatments, each Eyebrow Shaping appointment is customized to the individual client. The procedure can be done with or without adding color to the eyebrow area. Furthermore, color can be added on both the skin and hair, or only to the hairs themselves.

Results typically last four to six weeks on the hair and one week on the skin. Factors such as sun exposure, the rate of your personal hair growth/skin cell regeneration and the frequency at which you wash your face can affect the longevity of your results.

During your first appointment, the technician will be able to advise you on what would be best. Our technicians are EXPERTS who will decide how to achieve the best results for each client. We value your preferences! Please work with the technician to come to a mutual agreement on how your results should look.

After your treatment there may be a little redness around your brow area. Brows may look extremely dark at first, but will fade to a more natural-looking color in a few days. (If you want an extremely natural look, please advise your technician beforehand. We can dye only the hairs without dying the skin.) Eyebrow tinting does NOT harm skin cells or hair follicles.
